Unified HID-multi touch screen driver needed

Hi,

I am a Mac newbie, we just make a new touchscreen, this multi touch device work well in Windows & Linux, but can not work on Mac OS X 10.6, I am wondering if there are any existing touchscreen driver I can use, for example if apple provide one unified touchscreen driver, and I match VID/PID to this driver. Does this kind of driver exist?

If not, do apple have plan on developing it?

or I will need to develop this driver by myself.
