Mouse scroll-button reversed after upgrade to Lion

You could change it in System Preferences -> Mouse

Go to preferneces, then track pad. Under the scroll and zoom tab you can untick the scroll direction.

I just went in to preferances and clicked mouse, then unchecked scroll natural.

Under the Mouse pref, mine says "Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating." With this UNchecked, my Logitec mouse now behaves as it did before: scroll wheel moves up, window scrolls down.

I am having the same problem with my Logitech mouse so I swjtched over to my Apple wireless mouse and it scrolls backward also. This must be a bug in Lion.

It is not a bug in Lion, but the designers somehow feel that the Scroll Direction is "Natural" when it is what most of us would consider to be backwards! It seems counterintuitive to me to move my finger down on the mouse in order to go up on the page. So, I am glad for the answer above -- if you have the Apple Magic Mouse -- go to System Preferences, Mouse, and uncheck the first box, which is the Scroll Direction. Then the scrolling will work as before.

Thanks, I didn't understand the setting when I looked at it before. After I changed it, it corrected both my Logitech mouse and my Apple Magic Mouse.

After giving it a few days, I actually now prefer the new natural scroll direction, so I am just keeping it. Felt wierd at first, but after a few days scrolling, feels very natural.
