I found my MBP with Lion is no longer paired to a remote after upgrading to Lion. I went to pair with a remote and found the option missing from the Security and Privacy preference pain. I checked my iMac (Snow Leopard) and found the option to verify it is where I thought it was.
Has the option moved with Apple forgetting to update their Help text? Is anybody else having this problem?

Maybe we should bury the Macbook while we enjoy films and tv shows on the imac 🙂
Or install http://www.iospirit.com/labs/candelair which is probably a more appropriate solution while Apple enginers fix this missing checkbox.
I found the issue. Candelair was causing the problem. I uninstalled Candelair and all of my expected options came back in Lion.
Problem fixed.
