no login screen
hi there,
i'm having a problem with my mbp 13: when i start my macbook there is no login screen ? (also not in safe mode) - anybody please can help ?

When you say "no login screen"... do you mean you just get a blank screen or your system hangs while booting... or do you mean it goes straight to your desktop without asking you to login? If it's the later, you can require that the login screen be displayed by selecting the option to do so which is in System Preferences / Users. You'll see the "Login Options" at the bottom of the accounts window on the left. Use the "Automatic Login" drop down to change your options.

no login screen means: the mbp is booting, and then i can see the default background and no login window (user + pwd).
i also have tried a backup from my time capsule - the backup was successful, but the login window isn't still there and so i can not login into my mac.
