Cause I ought make some winged cheese now.
Do you want some?
BTW aren't you the one owning 47 macs with the same Lion image deployed on all of 'em and none suffers from a battery drain? Am I short on memory?

You are most unhelpful, refusing to post the information you claim to have, I am thinking that you don't have it to post.

Yes it is in there. Look for "powerd".
It also where you have to look at to diagnose what makes a mac slow on going into sleep mode or waking up. You'll see entries for processes that might hang for a while. You'll find the which has the longest hanging time and that's the responsible for the long time to wake/sleep of your mac.
I'm not inventing anything here, it's well documented on many basic Mac maintenace sites, books, etc.
I still cannot find the logs you talk of. Nothing comes up on a Google search. Can you tell me what folder these Power Usage logs are in and a simple description of how to get to them?
Thanks

Here's the Google Search result for 'powerd logs'
Now everyone will be able to see what it is you found.

You are a very mean person. Why do I want to help you?

That's what I mean, nothing comes up at any Mac site like he says. Trying to fix an issue here. I thought his advice may point to a solution, but just cows and cheese or something? If these logs exist, let us all know where they are so people here can find them and check them. Hopefully this time you can back up your log claims with some facts, which you have refused to do so far. Why? Do you not really have them from all your 'testing'? Is that why your score indicates you have only ever helped one person ever?
Yes I know, cows and cheese and don't have to tell anybody anything.
Thank You

Dec 1, 2011 5:58 PM in response to Redarmby Rayced,Sud you find it? If not probably you have to turn on the option to send out to Apple your reports of usage and diagnostic (should be in the privacy prefs panel). That is the only thing I can think about if these logs doesn't exist in your console.

So where are the privacy prefs panels? I am using Lion 10.7.2 I have reports to Apple turned on always. But they don't log as you suggest with Power Usage. There are no reports in Console.

I agree Jon. People here were trying the beta version or developers version of 10.7.3 I was hoping to hear back with how their testing had gone, but just keep getting Rayhead treating the whole place like his own personal Facebook page. I was hoping for some answers, but obviously people have been turned off this thread now with cheese and flying cows. I will move on to other forums and see if I can get some sort of sensible comments on this battery drain issue that is so prevelant.
