I have a Snow Leopard machine and two Leopard machines. Has anyone downloaded, then copied then successfully installed on another Leopard machine?

Forgot to add that the non Snow Leopard machine meets specs for Lion. Not gonna try to put on my old Sawtooth or Blueberries.

But that requires that you save the "Install Mac OS X Lion.app" file before actually installing it on the first machine. The install process deletes the install app when it finishes.
You should have not problem downloading it again fro MAS on a second machine. If you then save the install app you can use it on a third machine without a download.
Or if you by chance had a backup run before the instlal started you might have captured a copy of the installer.
Unfortunately, this is the way Apple chose to implement the new install procedure.

Nothing downloaded from the Mac App Store will run on Leopard, but you can burn the Lion install dmg to a DVD and use that.
