Software Update Server Lion

I updated my mac mini server. I survivied the move for all but one thing, my Software update server is broken. I tried the new and old tools but I am so lost on how to to fix it.

The old server tools still have my old settings that no longer worked.

I tried the new profile manager to add a computer but still no software update working.

When I look in my swupd folder, I see the index-leopard and index-leopard-snowleopard but no sucatalog with lion in it

I don't believe the file will be created until it is done downloading the updates. Have you gotten the machines to use the server to log in and auto set the Update Server?

The machines do see the server but tell me no updates (even though I know iwork, itunes needs it). All the updates were downloaded on Snow leopard but it looks like lion is redownloading or something.

Yes, it is probably doing that. You should be able to check and see. I know mine only had downloaded around 375 by this morning. How did you set the machines to use that server?

Mines doing the same thing, where all the macs think they dont need updating but I know there are at least four updates to go out out. The main Sofware Update Server is still downloading all the Client updates so do I have to wait for it to finish the downloads for the server to give out the updates?
