sqlite3_wal_checkpoint problem

Updated iTunes yesterday ... when ok. Today, when turning on computer got an alert window about iTunes that says "the procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamoic library SQLite3.dll". How do I fix this? iTunes does start up ok, but don't know what the alert window is telling me and when I clicked on 'check for updates' in the iTunes pull down I'm told iTunes is up to date (iTunes 10.4.0.80)

Many Thanks « webnme »… As many of us, the last i-Tunes update did create a bug with the sqlite3.dll. This is the second time I had bug after i-Tune update….

I try unsuccessfully many solutions… It was driving crazy trying to fix that problem… I am running Win 7 64bit. The download i-Tunes installer and the repair install did not cure the bug on my PC… But after I copied the file « sqlite3.dll » as you suggested in the …C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support , I have no error message after the reboot… There was no file « sqlite3.dll » in the folder …….Apple\Mobile Device Support.

I was able to restore of my iPod with all the data , but this was not easy.. I had to try 3 times.

So I followed instruction above. Everthing seemed to work OK but then when Quicktime attempted to update I received errors that Quicktime could not update. Next when I attempted to run Safari it would not work. Finally I uninstalled every apple program, downloaded them all again and things worked fine. Then I got an update and it offered the mobile me update and back to the same issue... I have now tried copying the file mentioned in the post above. Guess we shall see.

I was, again, able to resolve the issue of the warning message on boot up that the sql3lite_wal_checkpoint as not found. The first time, several months ago, I was able to delete all of the Apple programs from my laptop which uses Windows7 ... this time I did the move of the sql3lite file as recommended in several replies to this problem and it worked to stop the warning screen. Now, the real question for which no one knows the answer, is when the heck is Apple going to fix the problem so that when I download any update or new Apple program I do not have to resolve this or any other issue causing problems with my computer due to the download?
