Buying a macbook pro from america?

I will be travelling to america soon and wish to pick up a macbook pro while im there. Iv been told on apple live chat i would need to buy alot of things extra to make it work as they are set to be used in the US, is this tru? I was told itunes would not work either? i know i need to buy a mains adapter for the charger but what else would i need? thanks

You do realize, don't you, that the difference in price between the USA and UK is due to import duties and taxes that you will be obliged to pay when you return home with your new machine?


To the best of my knowledge, you won't need anything but a plug adapter to use a US Mac in Britain, if you don't mind that a few of the keys are labeled differently.
