it asked me to quit itunes. But itunes has quit and the installation has stopped at the instalation alert for itunes. how do i fix it.

Close it and install it again with itunes close from the beginning
Okay i just figured out how to fix it. all i did was go to my Activity Monitor and searched all processes for itunes, itunes helper was running. i just quit it and intaller.app was just fine. thanks thou, ill give you the points for trying to help me.
i have tried this but it show that if you stop it your computer may harm and it's true.My system have kernel penic.
