iTunes Music Library.xml Becomes a Game File

iTunes Music Library.xml becomes a game file. Clicking on it starts my Backgammon game. Info shows it as a game file to be opened by the Backgammon game. Using Info, I changed the opening app to TextEdit. Restarting iTunes causes the file to revert to the game file. iTunes 10.3.1. Any ideas? PFL

After examining the file, I realized it was a Applescript file. Using Info to change the opening app to text edit fixed the problem. It no longer turns into a game file. PFL

Why does it matter what application opens it? You won't be opening it anyway, only iTunes will check it.
