Hmm seems like a glitch what i actually did was uninstalled it THEN for a WEEK i would scan my computer registry errors and viruses AFTER A WEEK i installed it but anyways im pretty sure that will work because ive tried other methods and thats the only one that worked But don't worry about finding the libmxl2.dll file because that error i got that libmxl2.dll caused my ipod not only to freeze itunes but also not able to sync or update my ipod but if the problem keeps persisting then tell me or conact me at hector45123@gmail.com also Hector45123@me.com and hector45123@hotmail.com

I've used this fix twice, after updates and after I got my iphone4s and it did an update to itunes.

Thank you for that Hector, if I am running a 32 bit operating system on Vista. If I uninstall iTunes will I lose all my purchases & music Library or would have to re-import them all over?

I removed iTunes from the Programs file in control panel, i just noticed I have C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple still present in my computer. Do I delete those as well as I am still getting that notification when my computer starts up even after I removed iTunes.

So I get the

AND
I can't fix it using "the best answer" because my Apple folder does not have the Apple Application Support folder.
In fact the only folder located there is the mobile device support folder.
If it helps I have Windows 7 and I have the latest apple update installed into my computer (iTunes 10.5.2)
You should but after you delete that i sugges rebooting your computer then install itunes and again reboot you computer
So that it refreshes the itunes files and folders, Let me know if that worked

, but I still get the same error:

Hi Claja2 - Do you have a 32 or 64 bit system?
What you can try is uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime, but turn off any antivirus software and your firewall prior to installation. This has brought back the Apple application support folder for others.
