    Hi Claja2 - Do you have a 32 or 64 bit system?

What you can try is uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime, but turn off any antivirus software and your firewall prior to installation. This has brought back the Apple application support folder for others.

    Hope this helps

    Happy new year

Is there an Apple moderator or Apple staff on this discussion?  It's hard to believe that with at least four discussions about this subject and more than 75000 views that the problem persists over three iTunes updates.

I seriously doubt there is an apple moderator.  My experience is once you experience this problem once, you will have to fix it every time iTunes does an update.  My iTunes just updated to the the 64-bit version and the problem is there too.  I have noticed that while you moved the file from Apple Application Support to Mobile Device Support with the 32-bit version, you have to copy it with the 64-bit version because some apple sh*t now expect it one place and some in the other.  Also, the file in Program Files (x86) with the 64-bit version.

I suspect that appled f*cked up and put out a bad release for a few days that corrupted the windows registery.  Since probably only a few people affected they don't give two f*cks and won't fix it for us.

    Hi

I just followed mr.Allan's advice given earlier (reg.copy and paste of the missing link in the mobile device support area) and my problem was solved.

    Thank you guys.
