No Audio when watching Adobe Presenter files online

I just upgraded to OS/X 10.7 and now, I am unable to get any audio from Adobe preseter files. I'm taking online college classes and we have a good bit of content that's presented that way. Any suggestions?

After my first initial success with installing Adobe Connect (per asince's post), I've had mixed results. I've reinstalled in a couple times, possibly following Flash updates, but I'm not sure. I've also found that sometimes I need to clear my browser cache, relaunch the browser, and then it works. I've also tried restarting the computer entirely, but the cache and app relaunch seem to be the key steps.

That said, this solution has worked but with lots of hick-ups and inconsistency. If you NEED to have a solution, try a browser cache clearing, browser relaunch, possibly a restart, and reinstalling Adobe Connect. Waving a rubber chicken wouldn't hurt, either.

The Presenter files worked for me the last time I taught my class.

After following the advice in this thread (uninstalling and installing Flash Player, installing the Connet add-in) the Presenter file did play audio. . . . ONCE. I thought it was solved but now I'm getting the NO AUDIO display again.

My colleague in the same department has no problem with audio using OS 10.6.8 on Safari 5.1.2 (Same as my set-up). He is also successfully playing it on his MacBook Pro 10.7.3 on Firefox (10.0.2).

I'm mystified. Has anybody an idea of where the Connect add-in gets installed? Maybe the folder just needs a good cleaning.

I experienced similar problem -- after installation of the Add-On and deleting cache in Firefox and in Adobe Flash (Global Settings...) there was still no audio in the Adobe Connect presentation I needed to watch.

Then I found an advice for Ubuntu Linux (http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/kb/no-audio-playback-ubuntu-add.html) saying it is not working for Windows nor Mac. But my experience is different. When I modified the address launching the presentation the audio started to work fine.

I simply copied the original link including a simple JavaScript to open a pop-up window. I deleted the script and added the string "?launcher=false".

Originally - javascript:popup('http://xyz.adobeconnect.com/p72903780/')

Finally - http://xyz.adobeconnect.com/p72903780?launcher=false

Hello! I was having an Issue with this as well! All software was updated (or so I thought) and so my teacher online posted an annoucement for audio issues.. well, I use safari. So this is what I've found. I updated ALL Adobe.. still didn't work. Came here read most of this, not all so just in case, so this is more up to date this is where I went:

Click either:

Download latest Adobe Connect 9 Meeting Add-in for Mac(version 11.9.972.8, ZIP format, posted on November 13th, 2014, more info)

This helped me but I'm going to continue to look further into it to ensure it is correct and more permanent.
