Two finger tap lag on OS X Lion.

I'm used to tapping the trackpad instead of clicking. After upgrading to OS X Lion, two finger tapping to open up options(like right clicking) has a like a 1 second lag. With Leopard it was instant. When I do a two finger click it happens instantly. Anyone one else having the same issue. I mean its not a huge issue, but i was so used to it happening right away on Leopard.

You can fix the lag by disabling smart zoom under trackpad options. The system is waiting to see if you are single tapping or double tapping to zoom.

On a related note, I cannot get two finger tapping for contextual menus to work at all on my Core 2 Duo MBP. It's enabled in the menu, but the OS doesn't recognize the taps. Two finger scrolling works great and ctrl + tap works as well...
