How I can disappear the keyboard layout/flag button from password input?

I'm having trouble to remove this icon, after installing Snow Leopard again it appeared, and now I can't make it go away or can't find the right way to remove it. This is the icon circled in red:

It is probably there because you have more than one keyboard layout selected for availability. That flag icon represents the Input menu, allowing one to change the language/layout so they can enter the correct password.

Try opening the Language & Text pane in System Preferences; click the Input Sources choice in that window near the top. In the scrolling list, uncheck all items except one, the language/layout you use. By reducing the available choices to one, that flag icon (menu) should disappear.
