The fibertel accounts do not work with lion. Anyone know what shoul I do? I erased the accounts and re entered them but it doesn't work.

Same happens to me. I've tried everything but nothing works. Fibertel has no report on that issue yet.

Check your email in the browsre till is update for work with 10.7.
The same here. SMTP has no problem, it's only with POP server, wich is pop3.fibertel.com.ar
Telnet connects OK, it's a client issue.

Maybe is an certification problem from Fibertel's POP server with the new Apple Mail app. Report this issue to Fibertel please.

same problem, started when i installed lion, and only from my fibertel account, fixed it by switching the configuration from POP to IMAP, thks OSMIO.

Porque escriben en ingles? ...si el problema es con Fibertel. Hasta donde pude hablar con un operador es por los certificados de seguridad en sus servidores, pero lo malo es que no me dio un numero de caso para hacerles seguimiento. Quizas ustedes tengan esos numeros de casos para que pongan cartas en el asunto. Saludos!

Escribo en ingles porque el post original asi fue presentado, ademas estamos en un foro en Ingles y ademas tu mismo respondiste en Ingles.
En verdad, no tengo ningun numero para seguimiento.
Por otro lado te cuento que deje de usar Mail, me devora la memoria. Uso Postbox y muchisimo mejor.
Esperemos que la 10.7.2 mejore este punto sino vuelvo al SL.

Chicos, por lo que estuve averiguando ésto va a tardar un tiempo en solucionarse, mismo tenía el problema con los Sims3 que falla constantemente, así que la semana pasada volví al Snow Leopard y cuando arreglen todo ésto lo volveré a instalar.Saludos!!
