Aug 12, 2011 3:43 PM in response to Dlamijaby Joshua Nicholls,I too am having the same problem. If only I could find out where to clear out the recent servers and have it actually work. In the finder I went to Go > Connect to Server ... then clicked on the icon to clear out recent servers but no luck on eliminating the notification. Any insight would be great!

Dec 28, 2011 6:16 AM in response to Dlamijaby mdvia,Apple removed SAMBA (SMB) and AFP support for Lion [http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1,1186081,1191038].
After upgrading to Lion, I encountered the same issue. In Finder, hit CMD+K to bring up the Connect to Server options. Your computer is likely trying to establish connections with SMB or AFP servers in the history list.
I no longer need to connect to the servers that I had in my history, so I removed them, and the pop-up errors have stopped. If that doesnt work for you, or if you need to connect to the servers, here is a workaround that I found on the issue: http://frankleng.me/2011/07/21/connect-to-a-freenas-samba-or-afp-share-on-lion-w orkaround/
