Has anyone gotten the Huawei E170 3G usb dongle to work under osx 10.7(lion)? I managed under snow leopard but now it doesn't even recognize it.

I have the same problem. I am using E220. it stopped working after i install lion. Any solution?
It has something to do with the 64bit kernel at startup and the fact that the drivers are for 32bit but i have not found a solution yet. 😟

Pleased to hear folks - All credit to the guy who wrote the blog - We discussed practical ways of doing this but I don't like MAC so he done all the leg work. Please do post if there are any fails too - I doubt it but would be nice to know.
