Safari in lion - To not open last session automatically

Hello all

I have just upgraded to Lion on my MacBook Pro and I have noticed that my Safari browser automatically opens up the last page and history from when I last opened the program.

Is there any way to not automatically open to the last page you opened and open on the home page?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

I had the same problem too, and here's how I fixed it:

Go into System Preferences > General.

In the "General" preferences pane, uncheck the "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps".

Close system preferences, and reopen Safari.
