Aug 10, 2011 2:01 PM in response to pierdandrby milan.domeny,This is for us good news, becouse it means that purely new iMac with Lion is the same hardware as my new iMac with Snow Leopard, and problem is really only with software, so with next update hopely Apple fix it...

Aug 11, 2011 3:10 AM in response to Hakko83by vladfromchisinau,Lion OS X is a new platform, so I would suggest you to use Snow Leopard until Apple company fixes all the bugs. But if you can't install Leopard, then I would suggest you to keep your Lion up to date, I mean update all the applications/drivers atleast once a week.

Aug 11, 2011 4:55 AM in response to Sir Doyleby milan.domeny,Yes, I have also some issues with performance. My iMac is now with Lion little slower and sometimes occurs crassing apps no only from third part, but also iTunes crashed few times, some apps sometimes freezes.. so I am very disappointed with Lion..

Aug 14, 2011 4:53 AM in response to Hakko83by digimathi,Still no Systemupdate by Apple,
is apple aware, that there's a huge problem with graphic artefacts?
now i cant' read the menubar, widgets are distorted and those wiered graphic artefacts are all over the place.
i got a new 27" imac with a 2gb graphicscard 2 weeks ago and istalled lion right away.
it's crazy, that even the newly sold machines have graphicsproblems and apple is not giving any solution...
cheers
digimathi

Aug 14, 2011 6:13 AM in response to digimathiby refreshh,I'm sure apple is aware.. I mean.. they need to know how the public is reacting to LION right?
haha that would be most logical I guess.
I do hope apple comes with a solution/update soon because this is quite annoying at times and it shouldn't be there.

Aug 14, 2011 6:21 PM in response to Hakko83by Mark Free,Ok, seems like I found what is causing those artifacts to appear (at least on my machine). Switching fullscreen on and off for HTML5 videos -- particulary YouTube ones -- several times.

Aug 16, 2011 8:59 AM in response to Jedwardcby fatal exception,I'm pretty convinced it's Lion myself. I have a 2010 MacBook Pro 13" with the NVIDIA card, and I get the same artifacts. I never had these artifacts before upgrading to Lion, and when I'm in my XP partition, these glitches don't appear. If it were a hardware problem, the glitches wouldn't appear in screenshots, nor would they be limited to a single operating system. I hope Apple releases 10.7.1 soon, because I'm tired of it.
