Aug 17, 2011 4:02 AM in response to Hakko83by Bamtan,Still occurs for me, but I find what randomly triggers it is watching a video (mainly YouTube). Sometimes they run fine, and everything is fine after I've watched one. Other times the video will flicker with green and then UI elements/menus start to mess up.

Aug 17, 2011 4:52 PM in response to Hakko83by black_ice,Well, I have updated to 10.7.1 and problem is still there.
When it happens I just restart the WindowServer process to avoid restarting the whole OS. You can open terminal and type:
sudo killall -HUP WindowServer
and press Enter, but be careful as all the opened programs will quit, though, is still faster than to restart...

Aug 18, 2011 4:54 AM in response to Hakko83by sjslovechild,Do we even know if Apple has acknowledged the problem yet? I don't need a ETA on getting it fixed. I mean, its apple and they don't do that. But this is a serious problem And I'd like to know it's at least on their to repair radar.

Aug 18, 2011 5:19 AM in response to Hakko83by s.illes79,I can confim that 10.7.1 fixed my artifacts problem in finder, I only ever had a problem in finder, which is gone.

Aug 18, 2011 5:25 AM in response to s.illes79by milan.domeny,s.illes79 > I think if you will try it more times in Finder list view with many items, scroling up and down few times, this problem will occur again... I dont believe it is gone.. try it again and you will see...

Aug 18, 2011 5:30 AM in response to Hakko83by Hakko83,I still have the problem... with the update Lion feel better overall but the problem is still present... i am really disappointed, i will never be an early adopter again. I expected better from apple.

Aug 18, 2011 5:34 AM in response to s.illes79by Cinamonas,I still randomly get the artifacts after updating and resetting PRAM. Well, obviously, because the 10.7.1 changelog doesn't mention this issue as fixed.

Aug 18, 2011 7:23 AM in response to Hakko83by putnik,The Apple Support page on iMac's, "Troubleshooting issues with video" gives information on pixel anomalies.
Does this fit the problem you have?
-
Aug 19, 2011 12:39 AM in response to putnikby milan.domeny,No, it isnt fix for us. It is only about pixel anomalies on your screen, but we have software problems no hardware problems. Problems come with new Lion, in Snow Leopard was no problem with this..

Aug 19, 2011 7:36 PM in response to milan.domenyby shalercr,I did the update and zapped PRAM, I thought it was gone but seems after a day its back and worse, finder is impossible to work in which makes moving files around difficult. Thinking of downgrading to snow leopard, what is this window vista we're dealing with? I would expect much more from apple. Seems highly restricted to the iMAC though as my MBP is not having any of those problems, although it does seem more sluggish may try a clean install or downgrade that as well....not happy with lion at all.
