Activity Monitor is showing Process name warmd User nobody

After Lion install,

Activity Monitor is showing Process name warmd User nobody


Google search has a few suggestions in oriental script and Russian.


Search of Mac drive finds no warmd.


Terminating the process does no noticeable harm to Lion.


Search in Safari from Apple.com site top bar search box finds "Manipulates the volume status DB warmd (8) Pre-heating daemon".



This could be answer because my Mac pro 3.1 Expansion Slots are above 90 degrees F.


Any ideas?

I can't tell if you are trying to be funny or you truly don't know that the system uses "nobody" to launch important processes that run on your mac. Because it's a system user, it has no login. Googling can be helpful if you are new to the mac and don't understand what you're reading when you poke around the activity monitor.
