lexmark printer pro 705 prevail not scanning after update to Lion

I'm having the same problem with my x7675, I installed the new driver but it still doesn't work.

My Pro 705 Prevail wouldn't work after after upgrading to Lion. Here's how I fixed it.

Go to the Lexmark website and download the new driver for OS X 10.7. I believe the release date is 7/22/11.

Start the install process and choose new installation. Once the install process completes, delete your old printer in System Preferences. Mine now prints scans like a champ.

Go to lexmark just put up a new driver, Now mine works perfectly..... Here is the link...

make sure you get the newest driver that was updated 7/26/2011

Someone else helped me with the same problem. I the latest recommended updates at lexmark dated June 2012. Go to your Applications folder and click on 'Image Capture'...that is your scanner. You may been searching for the word 'Scanner' but you will find it there as 'Image Capture'. I did the updates first.
