Expose change? Can't see all my apps.
For some reason, Expose is only showing me my currently selected app. This is useless. Is there some sort of setting that can make Expose work like it did in SL?

I'm having the same problem. I'm using a Microsoft mouse and am quite frustrated.
That's the way App Expose works, it shows only the windows from a particular app.
To see all your open apps, use Mission Control.
I had to uninstall the Microsoft software pertaining to the mouse and now Expose is working correctly again.
I miss spaces 😟 I know that expose and spaces are intigrated in Mission Control but I used spaces all the time and this Mission Control is gettiing some used to.
Nope that doesn'twork. It only shows the apps that are not minimized. if you have the app minimized it does not show in Mission control =(
Yes, no minimised apps is a well-known issue of the current MC.
So this looks to be a bug rather than a change? That would be AWESOME! =)
I hope they kill the bug or add the minimized windows back, which ever the case may be. I could adjust if needed (adjustment is a part of life and I LOVE Lion otherwise) but that was kind of a bummer that it was gone.
Well, I hope it's a bug, otherwise MC has a serious deficiency.
Yeah, I totally like the look and feel of MC, but without it showing all of the windows it does fell like it came up a little short.
I think that is a bad design. One of the most useful features of SL (to me at least) was to be able to see all the windows of all the open applications of all spaces at once.
Now it is gone, I hope not forever.
I don't think that's how it is suppose to work. If you look at the example image under the trackpad system preferences setting for app expose, it shows all apps that are open plus the windows that are mimized.
I am having the same issue where only my current app shows when I swipe 3 fingers down. This must be a bug in the software. Otherwise, this setting makes no sense.
I think app expose is supposed to be used so you don't have to use MC everytime you want to switch between apps within the same space. That makes good sense to me, if it works of course.
Sorry, but I disagree. That's exactly how App Expose should work. It reveals only the windows within that app. It shows the open ones and the minimised ones, and the video in Trackpad preferences shows that too.
Open 4 windows in Safari, minimise one, do the 3-finger swipe down and then you'll see your 3 open windows plus the minimised one below.
To do what you suggest would be pointless as that is what MC does.
I suppose you're correct. A closer look at the video example only shows one app. At first glance it looked to be several different app windows. Than it definitely doesn't make sense that you can't see minimized apps with MC.
Now that, we certainly agree on!
Good news, there is a better way and its call "Expose"...

I went back to Snow Leopard - and couldn't be happier. This is how...
