Q: FATAL:  role "collab" does not exist

So, I am not able to read the Wiki settings in the Server application.  I notice that in the system log, I'm getting the following error:

FATAL:  role "collab" does not exist

How do I go about adding the collab role?

I'm asking the same question..can someone compile all the proper steps to fix this..and put it in a droplet or something? A simple app we can run?

This is killing me this issue..probably because while I DO understand basic terminal commands..but not getting the same results...I get these errors..then I'm stuck.

I used the following based on these posts and the wiki server is now working

    1) cd /System/Library/ServerSetup/CommonExtras/PostgreSQLExtras

    2) sudo serveradmin start postgres

    3) sudo psql -U _postgres -d postgres

    4) /q to excape postgres based on the help menu

    5) sudo ./CoreCollaborationPostgreSQLExtras.sh

    best of luck

    Hi,

I'm having difficulties with wiki as well and I don't, for whatever reason, have the /System/Library/SercerSetup directory...

I have migrated from Lion where I did not have any problems with the wiki server.

I have tried reistalling the Server.app but the directory is still not being created.

Could you please send me the that directory or at least the script?

    Thanks,

    Ukie

You can find the PostgreSQLExtras scripts inside the Server app bundle:

    /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/System/Library/ServerSetup/CommonEx tras/PostgreSQLExtras

This is what I have in the path, executed both scripts but still same issue.

How people find "CoreCollaborationPostgreSQLExtras.sh", Both earlier and latest version of Server app showing the same thing as attachment. Can't find it in Lion Server either.

I am beginning to suspect it's not supposed to be there for a reason. Newly downloaded Server app doesn't contain it. Unless Apple missed it.

Since I am playing around with a test machine. I observed that wiki do not need Postgres to run, at least what 'serveradmin status Postgres' is telling me.

I don't really care what runs in the backup or what not, but I want to be able to migrate my wiki. It's on a productive server, I have no way to go back to reuse the 'wikiadmin migrate' on 10.6.8 to migrate outdated wiki.

    Obviously. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5585 is not valid.

    Apple. Do something.

    The command

    sudo /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/share/devicemgr/backend/wipeDB .sh

solved my problem on Mac OS X 10.8.2 Server . Thank you!

Can anyone upload/send me the file: CoreCollaborationPostgreSQLExtras.sh

As I can see on my system (Server Admin v2.2.2), there are only two files listed as per Matthew Jasonpost on Dec 18, 2012 12:56 PM

Is it possible to reinstall it? Extract from another installation?

SUPPORT is very limited on this subject.

    Please, help me
