Boot Camp Assistant partition error?

When I try to partition my HD using Boot Camp Assistant, an error message appears saying that the partition did not work because some files could not be moved. Can someone please explain what this means, and possible solutions to this problem?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8), Time Machine

Yeah, amazing how much free space OSX needs, but I still think 50GB is a bit light if you're going to use Bootcamp.

Are you aware of the other options for running Windows‰ without tyng up a partition & needing rebooting?
