Lion Purchase Refund

Hello,

I purchased Lion for my MacBook Pro, but it is just not working out for me and I DO NOT want to perform a clean restore. The computer ran better under Snow Leopard. I am going to do a restore from a Time Machine backup I kept for "just in case". I don't need to have spent $29.99 for something that did not work for me and that I am going to use. How would I get a refund? I anticipate Apple to make this process as difficult as possible, but still have to try.

Thanks in advance

Next month Lion will be available on a USB drive (with a FULL installer). I would wait for that, or perhaps a DVD coming out later.

Walk into an Apple Store, pay cash. You will have no financial technical problems.

Same situation with me. I wanted to change payment info and it wouldn't. Kept giving me a "technical difficulties" error. I had paypal as my payment method though so, while not what I would have preferred I made the desired change on their end.

That said, I wish I could get a refund on this software. My system bogs down much, much quicker ('08 aluminum macbook 6gb ram). Also there's a couple multi-finger gestures that can't be reconfigured to what I'm used to. Never realized how second-nature those had become. After using it for several days now, I've yet to find any new features that I like.

Hi,

I have a Mid-2010 MacBook Pro, and Lion has been sliguish for me.

I emailed Apple tonight and got this response back:

In five to seven business days, a credit of 29.99 USD should be posted to the credit card that appears on the receipt for that purchase.

The steps outlined in this article resolve many common issues with apps:

I plan on downgrading to snow leporad this weekend.

All I did was log into iTunes, clicked store, view account, pruchease history, see all, report a problem, and filled out the form.

Hope this helps!
