Q: Regular Expose in Lion

Does anyone know how to fix expose in Lion to show all windows?  (like it did in version 10.6 - through version "the dawn of time")

What I would prefer is a terminal code to make this the default behavior for expose for all users under all circumstances.

Anyone?

This brings back the Spaces functionality: http://totalspaces.binaryage.com/

I was _very_upset_ when Apple took it away, and am very glad that TotalSpaces brings it back. So, to say "thank you" I'm spreading the word.

Great software, works as expected, worth the $12.

Others have posted it months back. But whatever. Not for me I'm afraid.

Pete, every post you have on here has either ****** someone off, been condescending, or not even remotely helpful.  Maybe you should find another thread...

Well as we all know Expose was excellent.  MC is simply crap.  I used the original Expose many times a day, so much so it became second nature.

The same moron who decided to discontnue the MBP 17 probably 'improved' Expose by creating MC.

When some clever person makes an Expose app that totally deletes MC and replaces it with Expose I'll be paying them some bucks.

Oh and as for the 15 Retina - waste of time - 1 guy dies and the children go crazy with crayons and finger paint, and way too much red food colouring.

Apple, as my son would say 'you fail'.  Stop ramming crap down our throats and listen to the users.

unsetting the option "group windows by applicatoin" in mountain-lion recovers some of the original Expose functionality; i consider this a dramatic improvement, good enough (lose spaces, but gain "N" desktops instead of just 2x2 being comfortable, and swipe-gesture between desktops)

MBP retina is amazing; the extra resolution comes into its own when you do mission--control and can now read the small print

Where is the "group windows by application" option? I do not see it anymore in the MC preferenes.

    Hi All,

I was frustrated by this change.. but then discovered the '3-finger swipe'... Just swipe bottom to top on your trackpad with 3 fingers... shows all your application windows just like the hot corner expose used to do.
A nice and simple fix for those of us on laptops devices. Not sure of a fix for those on desktops.
