Increase area for full-day events

I tend to mostly use the "top" area of the weekly view of iCal, which displays full-day events. I don't really use the hours below to write in events at specific times. A problem for me is that the top area is quite small, so all my full-day events are not visibly shown. Instead, I have to scroll. I now wonder if I can increase the size of this area for full-day events and decrease or hide the area where one can write events at specific hours. Any tips on how to do this? (One cannot simply move the line between the two areas down with the mouse.)

humorzo: I'm afraid this is not what I am talking about. Yes, by clicking one can add new events, but the problem is that after a certain number of events has been added, they cannot all be seen in the top area. You have to scroll to get down to the bottom ones. I would like to be able to change the size of the entire area with full-day events so that all can be seen without having to scroll.
