Hi,

I used Pacifist app to extract iSync.app from Snow Leopard DVD. For more: http://www.techspread.de/6782/isync-unter-mac-os-x-lion-nutzen; it's in German but screenshots will help to extract iSync. After extracting I opened the app and synchronized my Address Book with Sony Ericsson W995. Worked perfectly.

I hope it will help.

But I have still problem with using my phone as a modem (GPRS/GSM).

I too am having the same problem. I have duplicate contacts & calendar entries. I have Office 2011 installed and I have that set to sync with iCal & Address Book. I also sync these items to my iPhone. I am new to Mac and not sure how to fix this. However, the problem seems to have started when I installed iCloud. Can anyone tell me a proper setup for my scenario and how I should go about fixing this.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry to have to ask for this, but we only just upgraded to Lion and had no idea it causes iSync to disappear (I went back on our backup drive, and it's been removed from there too!). You pasted a link to a site for uploading iSync, but the link no longer works. Is there any chance you could send the file to me or put it back on a transfer site so that I can restore one of the most valuable programs on my Mac?

Many thanks

Edmond
