Can we make an App always open in Full Screen?

If you quit an app while it's fullscreen, it will open fullscreen next time, assuming it supports Resume. Other than that, there's probably a way to get it to open fullscreen by changing some plists somewhere, but I'm still looking around.

Update: I didn't find anything obvious. There may not be another way to do it, at least for now.

In Lion it does, that but not for all Apps. Mail, Safari, iWorks will re-open in full screen if you last viewed them in full screen. iPhoto, and iMovie opens in window even when you exit the App while in full screen mode. I'm trying to find a fix for that.

I too am fine with the Safari, Mail and iWorks apps, but iPhoto/Aperture and iMovie end up opening in windows or full screen but messed up.

The same with mine but i know how to solve. hope it helps.

go to system preferances -> general -> uncheck close windows when quitting an aplication.

that works for me though. So everytime i close my safari and reopen it will still in fullscreen.

Guy i managed to every app that supports full screen to resume in full screen after quitting... the only app that i find that misbehaves is iMovie, it is the only one app that i have found that does not return to it's full screen status...

Someone cofirm that i am not the only one please!

Same for me Ruhit, all except iMovie open in Full-screen.

The same here... even Final Cut Pro X 10.0.9 behaves itself just like iMovie. 😟
