Please try turning off Wi-Fi and use a network cable for a while. Under steady download speeds, I would also get 3 or 4 kernel panics a day until I turned off Wi-FI. I don't know if this is a bug exclusive to 802.11n or all Wi-Fi standards. Currently I'm wired, and patiently waiting for for Apple to release an update.
