iPhoto not recognizing Nikon 60 after Lion install

I recently installed lion. Now iPhoto (nor my mac) will recognize my nikon d60 slr when plugged into the USB. I usually plug the camera directly into the mac to transfer photos into iPhoto. However, my OLD mac (running snow leopard) is easily able to recognize and load the camera. I was able to import my photos from the camera on the old mac and transfer them to the new mac over the network... but that is stupid.

1. I want to report a needed a bug fix on lion for iPhoto not recognizing my camera

2. I want to know if there's some special setting that i need to update to make it load my camera
