Transfer files from iPod(video,30 Gb) to computer

I have iTunes but I can't transfer any music or videos from iPod to computer. I have iPod video 30 Gb version. Does anyone know how to do this. If yes please answer me.

The songs and videos should already be in iTunes on your computer.

If you're trying to transfer files from your iPod to a computer other than your own, I suggest this: Google the word "PodUtil" and download the freeware. I bought a new computer and was afraid of losing all of my music, so I downloaded PodUtil and was able to copy all of the files to my new hard-drive. I then opened up iTunes, added the folder that my music was in and updated it. Worked great.
