powerpoint on ipad2?

You should be able to view a PowerPoint file that was recevied via email from within the received email without an app. If you want to create a presentation, Apple has Keynote available for the iPad. Microsoft hasn't created an Office version for the iPad and may not.

however microsoft does have an app that allows you to look at the presentation on the iPhone/ iPad just go to the app store on your device and search microsoft office

This is a 3 year old thread. Since then Microsoft has created Office Apps for the iPad including a Power Point App.
