My daughter has had her IPOD nano since XMAS and had about 35 songs downloaded to it. She connected it with our computer yesterday to download a new song and all the songs were deleted from the IPOD. They are still in her library but I can't get them back on the IPOD. Please help! I'm not the most computer savvy person! Thanks.
Hi,
If you went to the Edit Menu, then preferences, see if the iPod is in the "Automatically update all songs and playlists" or "Manually manage songs and Playlists" mode then we can give you more support accordingly.
It is an auto sync and it is plugged into the original computer. To be honest I didn't even know you could use a different computer. I did also notice while trying to fix this that the nano icon on the source list isn't there anymore either, if that makes a difference.
You could try changing it to "Manually manage songs and playlists" then change it back and it should ask you if you want to link the iPod to this library, click yes, then it should hopefully add the music back to your iPod.
The same thing happend to my iPod nano but i had around 200 songs on it, i have it so that it should update automatically but when i plug it in it says theres nothing to update (so theres no songs on it, and none will go on it). 😟
Right now I'm trying the last of the 5 R's, restoring it. I also went and downloaded the lastest IPOD thingy, If that doesn't work I will certainly try your suggestion. Keep your fingers crossed for me, this is very frustrating!!
