    I have a question, when my macbook is loading the snow leopard partition, it just freezes, I can only see  grey apple without the signal that is loading the snow leopard "I mean the circle below the apple" and it take a long time but never start, I Have de 10.7.3 lion version and I started the snow leopard form other computer with the firewire cable and it works, what can I do please I need help!

    Hi, if you just need rossetta you could consider the following

    - Keep Lion an an OS

    - insert your old snowleopard disk

    - go to custom install

    - Select rossetta

    - Install

    I followed the instructions t-bowl posted and it worked like a charm. Thank You.

    Going back to Snow Leopard, gives me a useable Macbook Pro (MC373ll/a).

     

    Another bit of info, my iMac, which I used as the installer, the CD drive hated the new SL CD. Puked it out everytime. So, I throw  the SL CD into the MBP (which was in Target Mode via Firewire) and installing from there. (ironic). Worked like a charm. No more black screens and reboots.
