I have a Macbook pro 13'' (2010 Mid) and my battery doesn't charge since last night. I installed Lion 3 days ago, and the battery was charging correctly, but since last night it doesn't charge anymore.
At first, I thought it could be the magsafe problem, but after a few hours the battery started recharging again.
Any idea?

The battery doesn't charge until it is at 94% or less.
My Macbook Pro 13 Mid 2010 battery is not charging either. It has been at 24% for the good part of this evening. I am having the same problem. I am hoping it has charged by morning. There is a battery issue going on after Lion upgrade. Hopefully its an easy fix.
Try an SMC Reset.
What do the ligihts on the side of the MBP say when you press the little button?
If that doens't work, turn off your MBP & come back to it in 30 minutes to see what progress it has made in charging.
Thanks for the SMC Reset tip.. I had already tried it once before with no luck. I will try to cut it off and see if the battery will charge some. Right now, it is at about 1% charge an hour.
What is the battey health saying when you hold Option and click on the battery icon.
SMC reset doesn't solve my problem. When I hold option and click on the battery icon, status is normal. i think it maybe lion problem. For now, my battery started recharging again. (But after few hours later, it would be not charging again) very strange.
My MB 13" doesn't charge anymore since I installed Lion. It seemed to work but now the MagSafe led is always off no matter how I plug it. I've tried SMC resetting and every weird key combination I found on Internet, but the fact is that my battery is decreasing and I can't have it charge anyhow.
It's 40% now and I'm trying to preserve it using another computer so that I can have some power in it if I need to install some patch or whatever.
How was Lion done? As usual without testing?

The exact same thing is happening to me since I installed Lion. Hopefully Apple will do something soon to solve this problem...
Same problem here... There's a lot of people who seems to be having battery problems after installing Lion.
Hope Apple solves this problem before my battery is completely drained...
After 3 or so days my battery is up too around 89%! I do believe I will have to keep it plugged in the wall until there is a fix. Has anybody elses battery problems resolved? I have been looking at top Apple news sites, and I have yet to find one reporting the slow battery charges after lion install on the MBP. I do see alot about the battery hack issue, but thats not our problem. Please let there be a fix, soon. It is a little discouraging to see other people having alot of problems coming from the result of the update. I do have faith it will resolve. My PC degree is collecting dust for a reason. I started to wait until a couple of updates on Lion was out before downloading, but I was like a kid at Christmas time. Thats why I hope alot of the Apple bashing stops. I sure hope not only our issues are resolved, but other Lion issues as well. Time will tell.

Same problem here. Macbook Pro 15", bought in March of 2011, and I've been 4 days out from installing Lion, and the battery seemed to be doing just fine, now it won't charge. I've changed out the DC cable with another one and it doesn't charge on that cable either. I can have it plugged into DC and it works fine, but the second I take it out, it shows 7%, and continues to drop.
I have i similar problem. Though my MBP is chargching, it's doing so very very slowley, much slower then before. My battery time is allso much shorter now than before lion. And yes SMC is reseted.
You're lucky, my friend, because at least you can use your MBP corded.
Mine doesn't work even with MagSafe plugged. I have an almost dead MB with less than 30% battery... it's like "the final countdown" ...
What the h... is Apple waiting for to release any solution or at least talk about this officially ?

This didn't happen to me since I bought my first iBook G3 computer and its Sony optical drive was working poorly for months !! Finally, Apple "decided" to release a new firmware, just when I had bought an external recorder...
This issue also stinks...
For what it is worth, I have not upgraded to Lion, but did install Mac OS X 10.6.8 and I cannot charge my battery. I thought the battery died so I bought a new one. It worked for about 1-2 weeks and suddenly, it will not charge. I have performed the SMC reset and no change to the battery not charging issue.
