Great news, I have just upgraded iPhoto '11 9.1.5 in conjunction with OSX lion.
Now I can finally see Fujifilm W3 Photos and videos viewable on my iMac, That means Mac can now suport MPO format in iPhotos and beyond.
However, once the photo are imported to the Mac, they are only viewable in 2D.
iPhoto '11, Mac OS X (10.7), importing 3d photos.
I have noticed this in Apeture 3.2 on Lion as well. It seems Apple is on the move but it is only halfway there without the ability to export MPOs...
It is possible to import also with OSX Snow Leopard by simply renaming *.MPO to *.JPG!
Works fine and retains both picture (but displays only 2D!)
Does anybody know, if this compatibility is in iPhoto 11 or Lion, or do you need both?
