Is anyone else experiencing non-responsiveness when keying in shortcuts in Pages? Recently superscript has decided to stop working, which is interesting as subscript still responds fine.
Any suggestions?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Check whether it is a problem of one needs the shift key and the other doesn't. Apple is quite literal about the location of the character on the keyboard.

The actual font I'm using is Helvetica Neue.
How did I know if it have superscript?
Like others say, changing application and return to Pages, shortcuts start working.
It's very annoying, since I don't know when I past text, if it's from my last copy or other copy on clipboard ...
It's a fresh Lion install.
Experiment with other fonts with larger character sets like Lucide Grande.
What other copy on clipboard? Do you have a clipboard manager? If so have you checked for a latest version for Lion?

But I want to use this font ... isn't supposed to happen, never happened before Lion.
About clipboard, I mean:
- I hit "CMD+C" for text ABC
- Then I hit again "CMD+C" for text DEF
- If the second time I hit "CMD+C" it fails, I will past ABC and not DEF (the "other" copy I mean). With large text, sometimes I don't identify the mistake.
I see a lot of posts about this issue, but none of the solutions are working for me.

The font may not be the same font, just the same name.
Is this an exclusively Pages problem?
Have you tried the same thing in say TextEdit and got the same issue?
Have you updated both iWork and Lion to the latest versions?
