A new feature on OSX Lion allows you to display contacts birthdays without listing a year. I removed the year from the birthday of all of my contacts on MB Pro, and then when synced with iPhone 4, every contact's birthyear reads "1604". What is happening???

I have the same problem. The only answer I've been given so far is that it's a bug and that it's been reported before, so hopefully it will be sorted with the next system update :-/
