How do I get a CD to eject, it seems to be stuck?

Try restarting while holding left button on mouse or trackpad.

Restart the computer and as soon as it powers up, hold the eject key on the keyboard. If this doesnt work then:

Go to Appliactions, Utilities, then Disk Utility. The CD should be displayed in the panel on the left hadn side, Select it and click the 'Eject' button at the top (or right click the CD and click eject)

I tried what you suggested but it's telling me that it can't eject because some utility or program is using the disk but I don't know what program it's referring to and how to close it.
