Time Capsule doesn't get ejected after backup

Since I have upgraded to OS X Lion, my Time Machine volume of my Time Capsule doesn't get ejected anymore after the backup is completed. It doesn't seem that Spotlight is indexing the volume either, because there is no blinking dot in the Spolight symbol of the menu bar but I can still hear some aktivity, like when it is backing up.

Does anybody know what this is about?

I had this problem and it was really frustrating me. I realized that time capsule would not eject when finished as its supposed to do. All I did to correct the problem was 1. Verify and repair the disk 2. Format the drive using a quick format and 3. Restart TC. Then I connected via ethernet to do the first backup and it worked like a charm and stopped getting hung up. Does any of that help you?
