Q: VPN DNS settings; not available in Server.app

In the current VPN settings in Server app there is nothing to specify the DNS servers to be used by the VPN clients; when there used to be in Snow Leopard.

I cannot now VPN into my home server to access the local network AND also browse the internet when I choose SEND ALL TRAFFIC which is what I want to do.

Is there any way of adding in the required settings?

I can successfully vpn into my server with iPad, but cannot use any DNS based things on it. Looking for solution.

Mac OS X (10.7)

Found the solution while poking around.

    To check settings:

    sudo serveradmin settings vpn

    and to fix this...

    sudo serveradmin settings vpn:Servers:com.apple.ppp.l2tp:DNS:OfferedServerAddresses:_array_index:0 = "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your desired DNS.

For some reason mine had been set as my Airport Express Basestation.
