How do i install "Apple Remote Desktop 3.3" on Lion(10.7) i have the Unlimited client version....
It tells me that the ARD 3.3 dont work on lion but 3.5 do... How do i upgrade it? Do i need to buy a new verion again to use it on Lion ?

I'm in the same boat. Just had to reinstall osx 10.7, and now can't install from CD.
Hi here same thing.. i have Lion 10.7 installed.. every thing worked fine untill last night.. after the latest update.. ARD 3.5 inmediately 'hangs' on startup.
tried to set previous ARD from day before but no help..
then i tried to delete the whole program.. and re install it from my 500 dollar CD.. it won't install under 10.7.
whats next?! what is the solution?!
please help.. i work with it every day!!

i have no idea what i changed.. but after a reboot it suddenly started working again.. ;-) im happy.. but for you guys.. i hope ther will be a solution to reinstall ARD 3.3 in a lion enviroment...

I too have a $500 unlimited-license coaster. Going to give pulling the .app and library files from my 10.6.8-running Mac a shot; will post results.
Weird that it won't let me edit my post...
Anyway, I pull just Remote Desktop.app over from my iMac (it was on ARD 3.4) and upon running it on my 10.7 Air it triggered the update to 3.5 and all is right with the world. It did, of course, ask for my serial though since I didn't copy over any library support files.
Kevin's technique worked for me as well. I zipped the ARD 3.4 app from my 10.6 station and copied it to my 10.7 laptop. The application will prompt for an update when it is launched. ARD 3.5 gets downloaded and then you're good to go!
