Samsung, Kingston, or Crucial ram?
This week I'm getting the new 2.0GHZ Dual Core i7 15 inch MacBook Pro, and I need to upgrade my memory to 8Gb. All of my choices have the same specifications as that of the expensive Apple ram. The following are the three choices I have narrowed it down to:
1. Samsung http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0364224 -The big reason pushing me to buy this option is the fact that it's available in store. -$89.99
2. Kingston http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Modules-1066MHz-KTA-MB1066K2-8G/dp/B001PS9UKW/ref =sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1311597989&sr=8-2 -Kingston has always had a good reputation with me, but I can't find any in stores around where I live (Houston, Texas) and I don't want to deal with shipping.
-$62.75
3. Crucial http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT2KIT51264BC1339 -The current memory in my 13" MacBook Pro is a 2x2GB from Crucial, so I know that it's going to be a good product, but I'm also going to have to deal with shipping. -$65.99
I guess the question is: 1. Is Samsung worth buying? and 2. If not, Kingston, or Crucial?
