iTunes cannot detect ipad 2

how to activate the ipad 2 ? why is it the itunes did not detect the ipad 2 ? i tried many times but it still the same .

please help me .

What computer & OS are you using? What version of iTunes are you using/

Here's the requirements.

Mac System Requirements	Mac computer with USB 2.0 port Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later iTunes 10.2 or later recommended (free download from www.itunes.com/download) iTunes Store account Internet access
Windows System Requirements	PC with USB 2.0 port Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later iTunes 10.2 or later recommended (free download from www.itunes.com/download) iTunes Store account Internet access

Hi

I am having similar problem when trying to detect my iPad to iTunes. Ever since I switched on to OS Lion, iTunes is not detecting my iPad and when launching iTunes, it shows that it is hooked to iPad but whenever trying to sync, a pop-up window appears that iPad file is not found.

Therefore, I cannot transfer photos to my iPad or music.

This issue is new to me.

Any ideas
