LG NAS remote access

This is the unit I have.

I cannot use the remote access. I called LG and they were useless. The guy said "I don't how this will work with Apple Time Capsule". A little miffed. It works fine on my local network, but the iphone/ipad app wont connect. I set up portforwarding, DCHP, etc...no dice. Any thoughts?

As you are probably aware there are a number of NAS devices that are not currently compatible with OS X Lion, regardless if they are on the local network or from a remote network.

I assume the problem you are indicating is with any OS client attempting to access this NAS box from the Internet through your Time Capsule (TC) ... correct? If so, does your ISP provide you with a dynamic or static Public (WAN-side) IP address? Will this NAS be supporting both Windows/Linux & Mac clients for file access?

Would you also please provide the port forwarding/mapping settings that you used. (Note: Please don't post the Public IP address, just the local address and the UDP/TCP ports that you are forwarding.)
