Q: How do I start a tech support CHAT if I don't want to do the express lane?

I don't want to go through the express lane and talk to someone... I used to be able to start a chat with a tech support person, but there are no obvious links to find it.

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

Yes, I believe so — quite a while ago. It was only ever offered for certain products, and I don't think it's available for any of them now.
